NACE Coating Inspection

As a leader in the NACE inspection profession, we provide strict protocols for our inspections that provide our clients with the tools to save valuable time and money from improper surface preparations and coating applications. As 3 rd party inspectors we understand what is expected of us and we are dedicated in making sure all specifications are strictly adhered to by the contractor making sure that quality is number one for our client’s.

Our inspection protocol consists of the following:

- Protect our clients’ assets.

- Comprehensive documentation of all ambient conditions per ASTM E 337; monitoring surface temperatures and steel surface profiles; surface cleanliness and batch numbers of product used.

- Recording and verifying dry film thickness per SSPC-PA 2 standard.

- Photographing all stages of the surface preparation, coating process and corrective actions.

- Making all corrective actions per the manufacturer’s recommended specification.

- Project acceptance through final inspection with all contracting parties prior to completion of project.
